Algorta Old Port has survived the passage of time, conserving all its charm. Today, this district with its gaily coloured fishermen’s cottages and narrow streets, is a weekend favourite among the Getxo natives and visitors, who come together to have some glasses of wine, “pintxos” or simply stroll and enjoy the magnificent views of the river mouth.
